Search the SJCC Library Catalog for books by clicking on Advanced Search
Circulating books can be checked out. They are located in the library’s tall book stacks. There are also many e-books Available Online. Try a Keyword search using some of the important words or phrases that describe your research topic. Do a keyword search using the author’s last name, the title of the work, and “crit*” (for example, type: Hansberry Raisin in the Sun crit*). This will limit the results to catalog records that include words such as, “criticism”, “critical”, “critique”. These books will include a critical analysis of the literary work.

Use Advanced Search with keywords to include the author and title of the work. For example,
1) As you type, review the list that appears. 2) Enter the author and crit* to include words "criticism", "critical", "critique"
